Tom Cruise was good. He did his usual dangling from great heights thing he always does. His supporting team. Especially Jeremy Renner were very good. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Jeremy Renner takes more of a lead role in future films on the series.
I liked the fact that although the template stayed the same. The director (Brad Bird of Pixar fame) whilst managing to give the expected 'darker' edge. There was also a good sense of humour throughout.
I think this film has surpassed a lot of people myself included. As Tom Cruise and the Mission Impossible franchise was seen as being past its sell by date. The good reviews, word of mouth and high box office returns will surely see future films in the franchise.
